The used motorhome we bought was going on it's maiden voyage with us to the Upper Peninsula! It housed my husband (Al), my oldest son (Levi), my youngest son (Ivan), and myself. In the feline category, it housed my Snow Bengal kitten [Asian Leopard Hybrid (Samahra)], my Pixie-Bob [Bobcat hybrid (Pixie)], and Al's Savannah kitten [African Serval hybrid (Jilly)].
Our trip there was delayed by 1day because we had a storm rip through the area the night before and caught a tension wire close to wher…

This story comes from 27-year-old Tim McMahon. Tim, who is a writer, artist and part-time student, has lived in a haunted house in Geelong, Australia for 19 years.
Living in a haunted house has become second nature to
Tim McMahon of Geelong, Australia, although he admits that sometimes the resident spirits still surprise him at times.
Tim said his family moved into the house in May of 1989, when he was 8 years old and for the first three months everything seemed fine.
“Then some time in August…

This story comes from 32-year-old Jennifer Hudock. Jennifer shares a terrifying experience that happened in an apartment she and her husband shared about 7 years ago.
Jennifer Hudock and her husband did not expect late-night visitors to their apartment in Hughesville, Pennsylvania and they especially did not expect a visitor from the other side.
“We lived in a single unit apartment over a garage, what some people might consider a carriage house,” Jennifer explained. “The only way into the apart…

This story comes from 42-year-old Rick Cempie, a spiritual director from Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who lost his beloved baby sister due to a vehicle accident in April of this year.
Rick was sleeping soundly one night when he was suddenly awakened. He immediately thought it was his wife, A.J. who’d stirred him but when he turned over, he found she was sound asleep. What he saw startled him beyond words. There beside his bed stood his baby sister Lisa silently looking at him.

Imagine for one minute that you are a pet cat that is loved very much and kept in a home where you are well fed and comfortable. When the conflict began in Lebanon, citizens and foreigners were helped to evacuate by us, Canadian, and British. Protocols insisted that companion animals could not be taken in the evacuation… therefore, hundreds were released into the streets or confined in buildings.
Suddenly, they were without the people they loved and had to face starvation… and dodge mortars and…

While pursuing my latest interest, Quantum Physics as an explanation for Paranormal, I am led more and more to the idea that we are not what we thought we were, nor for that matter, is life.
Growing up I had the typical baby boomer reality; "things may be hard now but they'll get better, or maybe harder, just do your best and don't worry about it". Not a bad philosophy now that I think about it, but certainly not one to encourage you to go out and seek more, find better, improve the whole darn t…

Every since my next door neighbor died, I have been having a spiritual visitor. She will come and sit down on the end of my bed. Not heavy, cause she was a little ole thing, but being a light sleeper and insomniac, it wakes me right up and there is no going back to sleep for hours.
I know she is here because she has some unfinished business. She had the "First Alert" necklace that you are supposed to press and they come to your rescue and save you. Well, the boobs couldn't get in the building a…

During the coldest part of Winter, I could hear a cat meowing under our home. I would talk to him, he would meow back. I couldn't get my husband to crawl underneath to get him because of all the snow and ice and the cold. He assured me the cat would be fine because of the heating ducts under there. I was worried about him and started putting food underneath for him.
In the Spring, I woke up because of running across the roof above my bedroom. In my mind unclear in the first moments of being awa…

My first encounter with a ghost hunt began on a wet, miserable night in Glasgow. The rendezvous point was Central Station 7.30 pm. On arrival I was met by the group's founder and organiser, Tony Stebbings, an amiable chap with a laid back manner and sense of humour to match.
I was duly introduced to the rest of the group, Paul (technical) a shy fella, a mother and daughter duo, Liz and Li…

So, my husband tells me that he's seen his Grandma. Is it just me or has there been a "gold rush" of paranormal investigators coming on the scene? It is unbelievable. I was doing some research on energy fields and was astonished at how many groups are claiming to be investigators. Exactly when did it become the cool thing? I have a feeling that most of these groups are out for thrill seeking and invariably find themselves way over their heads when it comes to true investigating. I, myself, never knew how much work went into paranormal research…

Anyway, I'm folding laundry on my bed. It's one of those tall ones, too, so the mattress is pretty much waist high. Add piles of folded clothing x 6 people, and the little kids are short enough that they can often sneak right around to Ron's side of the bed without me seeing them......so when I noticed movement, I assumed it was one of them, but when I really looked up…
