- I've been doing paranormal investigation for 12 years. In 2000, I founded the SPIRITS of St. Petersburg. I specialize in ghosts in religion, animal ghosts, and have a brimming interest in shadow figures and "black eyed" figures.

- CSI-oriented things. Also love the Shadow radio broadcasts, most things that discuss the Greeks, Romans, ancient Religions, the arts, pugs and rats. Dislike pretty much all paranormal "reality" TV and refuse to watch it. Do enjoy shows that present the paranormal accurately or as TV fiction.

- I was invited and I have been interviewed by Bill Metz. Interested in meeting other serious investigators in the field.

Origins: The SPIRITS of St. Petersburg has experiences, investigations, and research that span from the late 1990s. The team, itself, was officially formed and named in 2000. Senior investigators have logged well over 400 investigations since the formation of the team. We currently hold LLC status and our application has been accepted to obtain a service mark. The website has 150+ pages of information ranging from history, public and private investigation, cemetery crawls, ghost tour reviews, movie/book and popular ghost-themed entertainment reviews, practical information, commentary and more. www.spiritsofstpetersburg.com

My art sites are:
In the Primal/Tribal mythologies of the world, there is a basic understanding: whatever is done to nature is done the self. In nature, we find the underlying communal whole, the essence that ties us all together. Yet, in today’s consumer-oriented environment, we are taught to buy and throw away. Like a contaminant, we trash everything we no longer value – from outdated tech toys to unwanted pets, the disabled, non-popular, the elderly…the so-called “others” of the world. When will we realize that what we do to others will someday be done to us? The realization is obvious: we are these things, we ARE the others. In integrating this into my philosophy, my art utilizes found objects in a unique and unexpected way to remind the viewer of “otherness” while also bringing about a new form of use for each object. It is my hope that through finding new life for these items, my art will remind the viewer to find new relationships with the world around them.

Updates to SPIRITS of St. Petersburg for April

Caffeine and ghosts
As reposted from the SPIRITS of St. Petersburg MySpace page blog. I find this fascinating, and if true, this is a BIG DEAL.
Two weeks ago, the results of a study came out in the St. Petersburg Times that indicated people who consumed too much caffeine were prone to visual and audial hallucinations. One of the surprising outcomes of this report was that people who overindulged in caffeine report sensations similar to sensitivity to ghosts -- and that they are even able to sense ghosts!
