If you have a picture of an orb take with a fairly high res camera zoom in on the orb. At the least it will look more pixelated than the rest of the picture. But most have some line drawings that look like a face, an embryo or a circuit board (it's actually sacred geometry.)

That pretty much rules out most of the skeptical explanations, eh?

Hi, I'm a new member of this forum. I just recently began an interest in orbs phenomena after I have so much picture of them in my father's camera. For months I have deleted many pictures from my documents since I didn't know what they are in reality. I thought something was going wrong with this camera. But some one told me about these "orbs" things as some with special supernatural importance. So I hope by joining this forum and your group, there are some one who would help me to ascertain what these "things" really are? Please check my discussion or my page to see those photos, and help me to identify them. Thank you very much.

Hi, I'm the new kid here. I wish I was a kid.
Anyway, I have orbs inside my house too. Some are at the door to my bedroom. There's something about that spot. My son and I, both, have experienced the feeling of being pushed. Sometimes I loose my balance. My son also captured orbs, with our digital camera, around the chair where I sit in the living room. We have orbs outside in our garden, too.
There is also the image of a face in our garden. The night when my son discovered it, I had found a picture of a face on the Internet on the Ghost Hunter site (Haunted -Not Haunted section). It fit the description he had given me of his image. Later, when he looked at the one I had seen and save, he was very surprised (and so was I), to see that it was the same face he'd been looking at for hours.

I've had photos shared with me but I can never say if the orbs are real or bugs. A friend in AK shared a picture with me that was very touching but the orb could have been produced by a background light source. (I'd share the pic but have no idea of how to add it to this site..sorry.) It was taken at a whale monument next to a whale jaw. The orb was huge!

I have had "orbs" show up in photos, but the most facinating were the ones my son and I saw free-floating in his bedroom. The location of the room did not allow for an outside light source which was my first thought and they were seen on at least 3 occasions.

When I first joined in Spiritualism studies, I witnessed orbs like lights dancing all around the room. (Actually one experience was across the front in a line - when I asked spirit what it was I was told a cancan line). Sometimes when spirit manifestation can not quite get the whole body, they can make a light or orb to let us know they are there - that works for me.
